Is Cholesterol Medication Necessary?Posted by Vera H, February 21, 2008 at 12:00 PM by Vera H My cholesterol reports are in the low to moderate risk category, and the doctor is suggesting medication. Otherwise, I'm healthy with no serious issues like high blood pressure. Over 40 with minimal weight gain over the years. Cholesterol count is 250, but HDL portion is pretty low (50). What should I do?

Facing Cholesterol Medication?Posted by Southern Angel, February 21, 2008 at 11:00 AM by Southern Angel I'm dealing with high cholesterol, especially the LDL - and I know that's bad. Also, my triglycerides are high. I'm not taking any medication, so that's not an issue. Any chance I can bring this level down with diet? Or am I facing cholesterol medication?
